1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using CrochetRooms, you agree to follow these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You are responsible for complying with laws and rules that apply where you use the service.

2. Accounts and guest access

Some features work without an account. If you create an account, provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law.

Do not impersonate another person, claim a username you have no right to use, or attempt to access another person's account.

3. Rooms, invites and host controls

Room creators and current hosts can control room access where supported, including public/private status and removing participants. A private invite link should be treated as sensitive because anyone who receives it may be able to enter that room under the current access rules.

Host status can transfer to another participant when the current host leaves. A room stays available while participants remain connected and is scheduled to close after it has been empty for about 30 seconds. Short reconnect grace periods may be used so a normal refresh does not immediately remove a participant.

Only share room links with people you intend to invite, and remember that recipients can forward a link to somebody else.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use CrochetRooms to:

  • harass, threaten, exploit or abuse other people;
  • share unlawful, harmful or malicious content;
  • distribute malware, phishing pages or deceptive downloads;
  • interfere with, overload or attempt to bypass service security;
  • scrape, automate or reverse engineer the service in a way that harms the service or other users;
  • share content that violates intellectual-property, privacy or other rights.

5. Content, follows and communications

You remain responsible for the video, audio, screen content, room-chat messages, direct messages, links and other material you choose to share. Only share material you have the right and permission to share.

Following another account can make that person available in your Messages page and in room-invite tools. Room invitations and direct messages should not be used for spam, harassment or unwanted contact.

CrochetRooms does not endorse user communications or third-party content shown inside rooms. Participants should use host controls, unfollow people or leave a room if they encounter unwanted content.

6. Third-party services

Features such as embedded YouTube playback depend on third-party services. Their terms, privacy policies, availability, geographic restrictions and content rules continue to apply.

We do not control third-party services and cannot guarantee that an embedded service will always work.

7. Service availability and changes

CrochetRooms may add, remove or change features over time. Live rooms can end because everyone leaves, the server restarts, network conditions fail, browser permissions are denied, or third-party services become unavailable.

We may perform maintenance or make changes required for security, reliability or legal compliance.

8. Suspension, removal and enforcement

We may restrict access, remove abusive activity or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or comply with law. Room hosts can also remove participants from rooms using available host controls.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise uninterrupted operation, perfect synchronization, permanent room availability or compatibility with every device/network.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited in your jurisdiction.

10. Updates and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective means the updated terms apply to future use, subject to applicable law.

Questions about these terms can be sent to roomscrochet@gmail.com or through our Contact page.
